Chris Scammell is a summer intern at the lab and going into his sophomore year at Colby College. He enjoys sleeping and being cognitive on a daily basis, so he believes he's in the right place here. Chris is the creator of this website so if you think it's ugly or want to change some content, bring it up with him.
Ben Seicol's primary research interest is to work with in vitro and/or in vivo models of pain and inflammation to study the interplay between the nervous and immune systems.
Bob Stickgold is the PI and Big Cheese of the Stickgold Lab. His research seeks to describe the nature of cognition during sleep, and to explain the role of sleep in memory and emotional processing. His studies of sleep and memory have provided definitive evidence demonstrating the importance of sleep in learning and memory consolidation.
Alex Morgan is currently deep undercover working on a "secret project." When not off presumably spying on Russians and protecting American values from oversea, Alex helps with "everyone else's computer programming" and technical issues around the lab. A whiz with C++, Java, Python, Perl, and more, Alex is an indispensable member of the Stickgold research team.
In his free time Roy enjoys saving the world.
Elaine Parr lookin' content, and behind her, a human. She is a research assistant and de facto lab manager at the Stickgold lab.
Jumai graduated from Harvard University concentrating in Neurobiology/Mind, Brain, and Behavior, with a secondary in Dramatic Arts. She worked on the TRN and Sleep project for her Neurobiology thesis.
When not taking selfies with "the boys," Nicasia enjoys biking, bikes, and bikers. Nicasia is a senior at Harvard University and studies physics, theoretical bioengineering, and exercise physiology so that one day she can become a bike.
